I am an Economist with a Ph.D. in Public Policy from The University of Chicago

I am broadly interested in the application of Econometrics/Statistics, Data Science, and Microeconomics to solve real-world problems. My research revolves around firms' and individuals' responses to government regulations and their effects on individuals' sorting into workplaces and schools.

Besides my Ph.D., I also hold an M.Sc. in Computational Analysis and Public Policy (MSCAPP) jointly from the CS Department and the Harris School at the University of Chicago, and a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Economics with a concentration on Financial Economics from the Catholic University of Chile (PUC Chile). I also have experience working as a Research Associate at the J-PAL Poverty Action Lab and a Research Assistant at PUC Chile Economics Department.
